I have gained knowledge and skills throughout this learning experience on how to carefully handle the patient with care and eliminate the risks of any kind of injury.
This learning experience has taught me how to win trust from a patient through communication, patience, confidence and most importantly It has taught me the factors that are very important when it comes to ensuring the patient’s safety, to simplify every situation by applying the C. A. R. E model.
I therefore can say that after this learning experience, the manner in which I’ve been handling the patients and applying basic mobility has gotten to a better level and will give me more opportunity in working and handling the likes of Quadriplegic, Gillian Bare Syndrome, Stroke and other variety of patient.
The C.A.R.E Module was incredibly practical . l leaned how eye contact ,posture, proximity and plain language directly impact patient cooperation and safety during transfers. the What , Where, Why , How , framework and 3R technique for reinforced key concepts like semantic noise and nonverbal cues. This training builds real confidence for safe patient handling . Highly recommend for any caregiver.
